We have a network of factories and seamstresses in Africa that we send your order to upon placement. Every effort has been made to identify factories and seamstresses that produce high quality work and need the income. We interview each sewer to find out what they like to sew and then pay them a bit more than they requested. We treat our network like family and they look forward to receiving more and more orders.
A portion of the proceeds from each clothing manufactured goes to a fund that will resuscitate an abandoned textile manufacturing facility in Nigeria, West Africa. The goal is to provide sustainable jobs to thousands of Africans and move on from the "Africans need aid" mentality and build thriving West African textile economies.
HOW DOES IT WORK
1. Click on "Customize" to start your order. Once you are in the form simply pick the amount you'd like to make, pick your fabric, pick the styles you'd like to produce and then submit. One of our friendly staff members will call you within 24 hours to confirm all details. You'll then receive a payment form that needs to be submitted asap.
2. Once payment has been received we will work with you to gather all styles from each person for whom you will be creating clothing. If the event is a wedding and you have bridesmaids, we will send each bridesmaid a form for them to upload their style of choice.
3. Once all images have been selected and confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email that your order is being transferred to a seamstress or factory in Africa. You will also receive a notification once your order is complete and when it should be arriving at your door.
